Kelly G. Donahue

Kelly G. Donahue was born on March 28, 1951, in Teaneck, N.J., and died March 4, 2021 in Sierra Vista, Arizona. A private wake for Kelly G. Donahue, 69, will take place later.

A newspaperman for more than 30 years, he was a former Marine. His travels included North and Central America, Europe and the Middle East, where he prayed in Jerusalem’s holy places.

In early adulthood he spent time as a motorcycle mechanic, tree trimmer and picture framer. He built his own cabin in the Zuni Mountains of western New Mexico. His most fulfilling time was spent as a hospice volunteer.

He is survived by his brother: Brian and wife Mary; niece: Meghan and husband Brian and daughters Marlee and Bailey; nephew: Kyle and wife Chelsea.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Vic and Ilene Donahue; sister: Vicky; a stillborn son.
