Larry Dee Marsing

Larry 'Deezer' Dee Marsing was born on August 23, 1963 in Grants, NM and passed away on June 23, 2023. He was 59 years old. A memorial will be held with family and friends this Saturday July 1 in the Zuni Mountains that he loved.

Larry was a lover of life and nature and people. Forever young at heart and his mind always brimming with ideas, he created many wonderful and fun things including his massive Christmas village, Humble Mountain and Kind Town which was featured at the Grants Public Library in recent years. He was incredibly handy and skilled in construction, constantly building and doing for others, and could be counted on to always help those in need. Larry was full of laughter and smiles and his joy poured out into everyone around him. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful man, then you too understand why he will forever be missed and never forgotten.

Larry is survived by his mother: Nancy Marsing; siblings: Lonnie, David, Danny, and Teresa; son: Dylan Marsing and his children Rylee and Haylee; and numerous nieces and nephews, many with their own children.

He was preceded in death by his father Lamar Marsing, his wife Donna Remelius, and his brother Kenny Marsing.
