Leonard N. Griego

Leonard N. Griego was born on September 1, 1976 in Grants, New Mexico and passed away on March 9,2021. He was living in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Leonard was a devoted father and an avid outdoorsman, he was an amateur MMA fighter and motor cross racer. He loved his family. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do to help others. He loved camping, fishing and a warm campfire, roasting green chili and cooking chicharones. He loved watching the Denver Broncos with family and friends.

Leonard is a disciple of Jesus Christ. Our merciful Lord decided it was time to go home. He is with our creator and grandparents, Jake and Carmen Gonzales, Alejo and Mela Griego. They are all praying for us. We will see you again in Heaven. No more tears, just happy faces.

He is survived by his mother Diane Gonzalez-Cress, father Jose Griego and stepmother Jennifer. His daughters Aspen and Eden, his sisters Melanie, Melissa, Julie, Joie and brother Julian. Nieces Kivana, Lynnae and nephew Jace. Countless cousins and friends. He will be missed.
