Oliver L Etsitty Sr.

He was Navajo. His clans were: Kiyaa’anii.-The Towering House Clan Naaneesht’ézhi.-The Charcoal Streaked Maternal Grandfather: Tódich’íí’nii.-Bitter Water Clan Paternal Grandmother: Tl’ògí.-Hairy Ones or Weaver-Zia Clan He was born June 29, 1950 in Crownpoint, NM to late mother, Helen Long Mescal of Borrego Pass and Casamero Lake area; and late father, Louis Oliver Etsitty Sr. of Fruitland, NM.

He lived in Borrego Pass in his early years but then settled in Bluewater Village for many years with his late wife, Roselyn L. Etsitty.

He leaves behind 11 children and 42 grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be April 16, 2024 at Mt. Taylor Funerals & Cremations in Grants, NM at 1000 AM. His final resting place will be at the Grants Memorial Park at noon the same day.
