Pablo Geronimo Jaure

Pablo Geronimo Jaure aka Jerry Paul (JP) Jaure.

Jerry was born on July 20, 1949, to Pablo Jaure and Dulcenea Trujillo Jaure. He passed away on December 6,2021. There will be a rosary on January 6, 2022, at 9:30 am at St. Teresa Church. Burial will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 10:30 am on January 7, 2022. Jerry graduated from Grants High School in 1969. He entered the Army on September 25, 1972. In May 1, 1974 he achieved the rank of Field Artillery Crewman. (13E20) In January 14m 1975 he achieved the rank of Cannon Fire Direction Specialist. After 6 years of the military service, he completed his service to his ountry. He worked at Kerr-McGee Mines as a trackman. He continued his mining career in 1978 at the Homestake Mill. After the mines started releasing employees, he found his calling at Corley's Exxon Service Station. He moved to Denver in 1985 to continue his work ethics in Construction, where he was employed with Floor Daniel Construction. He felt the call of the road and started driving for TSL Transportation Specialist Driver. His routes usually took him from Los Angeles to Chicago. After 6 years on the road he settled back down to work at Hembd Construction in Milan. When the construction company moved to Farmington, he started working at GCCS: Maintenance dept. When he decided to look for another occupation, he started his job at McKinley Paper Company in 2005. He was also a member of the Color Guard as well as the Cemetery Board. Jerry was a very private individual; he enjoyed his time after retirement. He made numerous trips to the "Run for the Wall" on several occasions. He is most notable for his 1971 El Camino.
