Winona Jean Williams

Winona passed away April 13, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

She was born May 1, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Larry Travis Cox and Tommie Jean Daily. She grew up in Many, Louisiana. Winona had a long career in the medical field performing many different jobs. At the end of her career, she specialized in home health care for terminally ill patients.

Winona is survived by her husband: Morris (Will) Williams; her son: Kenwin Scott Baker and wife Julene; three granddaughters: Kylee Baker-Pegg and husband John, Kayla Baker-Howard and Husband Mitchell, and Kinsey Baker; three great-grandsons: Beau Allen Howard, Miller Patrick Howard, and Lincoln John Pegg.

All who knew Winona, were considered family and she fiercely loved her family. She took pride in her son, granddaughters, grandsons, nieces and nephews. All were loved and spoiled by Miss Nonie. She will be greatly missed. Forever loved and remembered.
