GRANTS, N.M. – Due to COVID-19 protocols, Grants High School has entered remote learning until the January 24. Thus, sports are suspended until students are able to return to in person classes. It is not clear at this time if missed games and matches are going to be made up at a later date or cancelled.
Pirate Boys Basketball
Currently, the GHS boys’ basketball team is 7-8 after a 66-49 loss to the 1-A Magdalena Steers (16-0) last Monday in a home game. The next scheduled game for the Pirates boys is a home game on Tuesday, January 25th against the Valencia Jaguars (5-12).
Lady Pirate Basketball
The Lady Pirates basketball team is currently 5-11 and their next scheduled game would have them traveling to Valencia High School (9-7) on January 25
Pirate Wrestling
The GHS wrestling team has a match scheduled for Highland High School for January 26.
