GHS girls volleyball is currently 7-7 coming off a 3-1 win over the lady Tigers of Aztec. Next up for the lady Pirates will be a and away district game against St. Pius (3-9) on Tuesday, October 5 and a non-district match up against Rehoboth High School (3-11) on October 7.
Soccer
GHS lady’s soccer (4-7, 0-3) lost 3-0 to the district rival the Highland Hornets on Thursday, September 30 and had a previous loss to the Valencia Jaguars 3-0 on Tuesday, September 28. Next up for the lady Pirates is a district away game against the Belen Eagles (1-9, 0-2) on Tuesday, October 5 and a home district game against the St. Pius X Spartans (8-1,3-0) on October 7th. The GHS boys’ soccer team lost it’s last to contests and are currently 0-11, 0-3.
