The Laguna-Acoma High School Volleyball Team is sitting on a special 12-0 record after defeating East Mountain High School this past weekend in three straight matches (25-12, 25-11, 25-10). The seven seniors on the team lead are stacked with experience and skills. They will have a bigger match this Tuesday, October 4 against the 4-A -7-5 Gallup Bengals. The Laguna-Acoma football team are 3-4 and will play the 34 Escalante Lobos in an away game on Friday, October 7.

The Grants High School Volleyball team are 6-7 as they start district play on Tuesday, October 4 against district rival Valencia High School (7-7). The Lady Pirate Soccer Team is 5-5-1 and host the Valencia Jaguars (3-7-1) on Tuesday, October 4 in district play. The GHS Boys’ Soccer team is 10-2 and will host Valencia High School (3-10) on Tuesday as well.

The Grants High School football team (1-5) had a bye week and will be in action on Saturday, October 8 as they host the 5-1 Taos Tigers.
