ALBUQUERQUE, NM – New Mexico United is excited to announce the signing of Swiss-American defender Timothie Zali. Zali has spent the last five seasons in the Swiss Challenge League - most-recently with FC Wil 1900 in 2022 - a year that saw him make 19 appearances, and score one goal.

“Timothie has a unique athleticism that will translate to success in our league,” said New Mexico United Head Coach/Technical Director Zach Prince. “He is dominant in aerial duels, and has the ability to control individual defending situations behind the defensive line. We are excited to add Timothie to our defensive group.”

Prior to his time with FC Wil 1900, Zali made 16 appearances with FC Rapperswil-Jona, also of the Swiss Challenge League. Before that, he made 66 appearances with FC Bavois over three seasons. Over the course of his career in Switzerland, Zali moved up from the fourth division, to third, to second, serving as a defensive stalwart for his clubs along the way.

New Mexico United is excited to announce the signing of goal-scoring forward Josh Dolling. Dolling spent 2022 with St Louis City SC 2 of MLS Next Pro - scoring nine goals in all competitions, including the winning goal in the league’s Western Conference Final.

“Josh has a real instinct for bringing others into the game,” said United Head Coach/Technical Director Zach Prince. “His ability to lead the line defensively with his pressing is top end. His physical size and ability to be a target mixed with his ability to make plays around the box make him a consistent threat to score or set the table for others. We look forward to adding Josh to our attacking group.”

Prior to his first professional season in 2022, Dolling was a dominant college player - earning All-American honors three times during his collegiate career, All-Conference honors four times, scoring 40 goals, and leading Missouri State to the 2021 MVC Regular Season and Tournament titles, as well as a win over Maryland in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Dolling played in the Blackburn Rovers, Manchester United, and Burnley FC youth academies in his native England. Of his club-high nine goals in 2022 for St. Louis City SC 2, four were matchwinners.
