ALBUQUERQUE, NM - New Mexico United has its Opening Day! United will take on United States Men’s National Team legend Landon Donovan’s San Diego Loyal on April 15th at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park. The match will be United’s first home contest of the season, with the regular season beginning one month earlier on March 11th.

“With a date finally set, the United family now has something tangible to look forward to,” said New Mexico United President/CEO Peter Trevisani. “Our fans have been absolutely incredible, leading the league in attendance each year that we have had fans in the stands. In year five of United, we are shooting to bring New Mexicans what they deserve - a title - and we can’t wait to welcome the community back out to Rio Grande Credit Union Field in April.”

The late home start for United - second-latest in the USL Championship - means that they will start their season on the road. The full schedule for all teams will be released on Monday, January 9, with 408 matches set to be unveiled.
