ALBUQUERQUE, NM – New Mexico United is hosting an Open Tryout, presented by Fiesta Kia, on January 28th, 2023 at Kraemer Fields, in Albuquerque. This is the first open tryout that New Mexico United has hosted since 2018 and is an opportunity for all players to earn a chance to make our roster. In the past, United has signed two (2) players to the squad that were identified at open tryouts Josh Goss and Phillip Beigl.
If United sees potential in a player, an opportunity may be afforded to the player to be invited into preseason starting on January 30. The club wants to leave no stone unturned and a tryout gives an avenue to players that have not yet been seen.
Tryout fee is $150 plus tax, so the total is $161.63. Sessions will be at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., please be available from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Players will receive an email that includes which session you will be in ahead of the tryout.)
