CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – Following a Valentine’s season that celebrates love and companionship, the Cibola Citizen recognizes the couples who began new chapters together at the start of 2026, as well as those who chose new paths forward. These milestones reflect the continuing rhythm of life in our community – moments of commitment, change, and renewal shared among neighbors across Cibola County.

The new year opened with celebrations of love across Grants and surrounding communities, with ceremonies held in courtrooms, churches, local businesses, and outdoor spaces meaningful to the couples involved.

On January 1, Richard George McNeill of Grants and Dei Elias Riddle of Durant, Oklahoma were united in marriage at Grants Riverwalk Park.

The ceremony was officiated by Tara Batchlor, with Beverly Michael and Jackie Sanchez serving as witnesses.

On January 9, Jonathan Kyle Judkins and Roxanne Lynn Meyers of Zuni were joined in matrimony at 700 E. Roosevelt Ave., Suite 50, in Grants.

Probate Judge Josephine Hurtado officiated the ceremony, witnessed by Veronica Chee and Brandy Jechl.

On January 10, Erik Raymond Galindo of Grants and Catherine Elizabeth Tena of Las Cruces exchanged vows at Hit List Archery Shop on Santa Fe Avenue.

Magistrate Judge Tony Mace officiated, with Issacc Gallegos and Sydney Lester standing as witnesses.

On January 22, Corbyn Jon Patrick Finn of Carlsbad and Madisen Lynsey Martinez of Houston were married at 700 E. Roosevelt Ave., Suite 50, in Grants.

Probate Judge Josephine Hurtado presided over the ceremony, witnessed by Maria Grujalva and Priscilla Marquez.

On January 23, Joshua Isaac Pacheco and Roxanne Nicole Autrey, both of Grants, were wed at Grants High School.

The ceremony was officiated by Ordained Minister Miranda Barajas, with Jolynn Perez and Reyes Jaramillo serving as witnesses.

On January 30, Tiffany Grace McCoy of Albuquerque and Brooke Lynn Power of Grants were united in marriage at a residence on Hilltop Lane in Grants.

Ordained Minister Byron Robinson officiated, witnessed by Kylie Lester and Brittany Ward.

Closing out the month on January 31, Gilbert Everitt Gonzales Jr. of Tucumcari and Tiffany Ann Gonzales of Albuquerque exchanged vows at the Grants Municipal Court.

Municipal Judge Michael Cavin officiated the ceremony, with Gilbert Gonzales Sr. and Tiyerra Gonzales serving as witnesses.

Tommy Thompson of Crownpoint and Rosemary Maria of Blackrock were joined in marriage at the Ramah Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Randy Chatto officiated, with Tanisha Chatto and Keenan Teller as witnesses.
