As the calendar year draws to a close and we gear up to welcome the New Year with open arms, it's crucial not to overlook the importance of taking care of our mental health.

Photos by Arieanna Crowson - CC On December 17 Milan Volunteer Fire Department held a toy giveaway for children aged zero to 18 at the Milan Hall parking lot. The event was sponsored by 411 Equipment LLC and MVFD was able to provide gifts to 245 children.

Laguna Pueblo Resident Del Carrillo Becomes First to Achieve 500 Miles at Milan Swimming Pool

MILAN, NM – On December 20, the Milan Swimming Pool held a small ceremony to recognize their first swimmer to enter the 500-mile club. Del Carrillo, a 75-year-old resident of Seama in Laguna Pueblo achieved the feat and said that the feat took him 2 to 3 years to achieve.
