This sweetheart is Venus, she is a 2-year-old, spayed, Retriever mix. She is the calmest dog we have here at the shelter. She gets along with everyone and loves having any attention. She came from a hoarding situation and is one of the last ones left through no fault of her own.

On February 12, 2024, in the early afternoon, Cibola County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report of a deceased subject in Mt. Taylor addition. The victim was identified as Rocky Colburn Sr., a 65-year-old resident of Cibola County.
