GRANTS, NM – On November 14, it was announced by Grants Police Department that Dennis Bubel, who had a warrant out for his arrest on charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery, was captured by Albuquerque Police Department after being observed in the Albuquerque area.
The City of Grants held their Regular City Council Meeting on November 29. This meeting included multiple discussion such as the Grants MainStreet Quarterly Presentation and a Holophane Lighting Presentation. GRANTS, NM—November’s Regular City Council Meeting was held on November 29. At this meeting there were discussions regarding the Grants Main- Street quarterly work, a Holophane Lighting Presentation, and Public Safety.

We now have a specialty license plate. New Mexico has some of the prettiest license plates in our country I believe, and they tell a story when you think about it. Take the Farm and Ranch license plate for example: I think of horses and cattle and cowboys.

National Miners Day Celebrated

GRANTS, NM – The New Mexico Mining Museum at 100 Iron Avenue in Grants is celebrating National Miners Day on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 9 am to 5 pm. In honor of the special day, the museum is offering free refreshments and tours to everyone, especially miners and their loved ones.
