MILAN, NM -- Officer Nikolas Candelaria was recently awarded a letter of commendation for his involvement in the capture of six alleged terrorists moving through the area. The letter was awarded to him from Chief of Police Carl Ustupski at the Board of Trustees Special meeting held on June 15.

WASHINGTON — The Bureau of Land Management is extending the public comment period for the Public Lands Rule by 15 days. This brings the time collecting public feedback on the proposed rule to a total of 90 days. The new deadline to provide input is July 5, 2023.

GRANTS, NM - The eighth annual Baca’s Antler Collection Fair was held on Sunday, June 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. At the event there were vendors, two cornhole tournaments, an archery poker run, an elk calling contest, and shed antlers brought in were judged and sold.
