Man Sentenced to Prison for Voluntary Manslaughter

Cole Ray Shorty and Landen Toledo pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter after the events that took place on May 27, 2022.According to court documents, Shorty and Toledo confronted the victim, John Doe at his place of residence to retrieve Shorty’s backpack.

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. — Nearly 100 people gathered in downtown Grants on Friday morning to take part in the national “No Kings Day” protest, a Flag Day demonstration focused on preserving democracy, defending civil liberties, and opposing authoritarianism.
