GRANTS, N.M. — As the 2024–2025 academic year draws to a close, Cibola County’s education system stands at a critical crossroads: the slow and steady gains made this year are undeniable, but so too are the deep challenges that remain.

Two weeks ago, the City of Grants began to use a BNSF Railroad video camera system, which has already become a point of interest for railroad enthusiasts.This live-streaming system can be viewed on the SouthWest RailCams YouTube channel, which has 21.4k subscribers from various parts of the country.

These triplet kittens were diagnosed with leukemia, despite being only 10 months old. They stayed at the shelter for some time, until on April 14 when they were transported to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, where they may be treated and taken care of.
