Mrs. Priscilla Archunde, age 87, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, December 18, 2022, surrounded by her family. Priscilla was born September 21, 1935 in Los Alamos, NM. She later moved to Albuquerque to attend college and worked at St. Joseph’s hospital.

Gene Russell Aragon passed away peacefully at his home on November 29 at the age of 72 surrounded by family. He fought a heroic battle with cancer and faced his illness like all other challenges in his life: Head-on, with his chin up and a joke on cue.

Our mother, Joan Arlene Schanzenbach Parks, passed away on November 10th, 2022, age 88, after a long battle with cancer. Joan was born November 20, 1933, in Midland, South Dakota, and grew up on the family farm 25 miles north of Midland.

Ernest H. Macias was born in Grants NM on January 19, 1946. Ernest’s parents were Benjamin and Ester Macias both from Grants NM. Ernest passed peacefully on November 1, 2022 entering Heavens Gates. Ernest was employed by City of Grants and OMI for 46 plus years and enjoyed helping everyone.

Jimmy Ray Wharton, known to most as Pete, passed away peacefully at his home in Farmington, NM. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the age of 73.

Kathy passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2022, aged 95. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. She worked in the retail business for many years: The Starlite Cafeteria, Frontier Inn, Econo Lodge, Holiday Inn, and Golden Horseshoe.
