The GHS lady Pirate cross country team placed third in their district (4-A 5) and they will be able to compete at the state cross country meet to be held at Academy High School this Saturday, November 6th. The lady Pirates are led by seniors Andria Moquino, Skyler Charlie and Iyessa Arriaga.

WACO, Texas – Stephanie Doran of Louisiana College corralled the RRAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award for Oct. 4-10, while Kristina Simpson of University of the Southwest (N.M.) was named the RRAC Defensive Player of the Week for the same dates.
