New MPD chief takes Oath of Office

MILAN, N.M. – The Honorable Willie Jaramillo, Village of Milan municipal judge, administered the Oath of Office to the new police chief last Wednesday. The Feb. 17 ceremony was held at the Milan municipal courthouse. All village buildings are currently closed to public access during the pandemic.

GRANTS, N.M. - The City of Grants Water Conservation Plan committee held its final workshop on Feb. 10. This was the fourth session in the process, which focused on developing strategies to ensure, protect, and improve the municipal water supply and infrastructure.
