School district returns to hybrid option

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – The Grants/Cibola County School District board voted to return to hybrid learning at the Feb. 8 meeting. The option is scheduled to begin Monday, Feb. 22.

Private Prison Moratorium; Current HB 40 status

School principals report survey results

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. — The Grants/Cibola County School District board listened attentively as each building principal described survey responses. The survey provided an opportunity to identify preferences for returning to hybrid instruction or remaining in the virtual learning mode.

Vaccinating elderly county residents

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. — The Cibola Senior Citizens Center, Grants, helped 200 elderly community members participate in the Jan. 29 vaccine pod. The inoculation provides protection against COVID-19.

Saturation patrols

GRANTS, N.M. - The Grants Police Department will make every effort to educate, detect and apprehend individuals driving under the influence of alcohol and or drugs in our community and deter any other traffic violations to keep our street safe.

Derailment

This past Thursday, February 4 a minor mishap took place on the railroad tracks in Grants by the AutoZone store. According to the Cibola County Sheriff, a mechanical malfunction in the area were two cars are connected together caused the derailment.
