CCSO seizes drugs on I-40

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. - A man was travelling from Arizona, presumed by police to have been heading home, when a Cibola County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the early morning of Monday, October 5. The driver fled and the incident ended with the vehicle flipping over.

‘Back the Blue’; Protest leads to a packed park

GRANTS, N.M. – The Cibola County Republican Party held a protest in support of the police, in contrast to protests across the country to defund the police. The protests took place on September 22, with a large crowd in attendance, with elements of limited social distancing and few masks in sight.

Saturation patrols; ENDWI in New Mexico

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – In order to keep the roadways safe across Cibola County, area law enforcement agencies are running saturation patrols, putting a stop to drivers that may be driving intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
