Dire warnings; Hospitals hitting capacity

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. — Cibola County has eclipsed 800 COVID-19 cases, seeing a 16.1 percent spike in cases since Tuesday of last week. Cibola has seen a 12 percent increase of deaths, bringing the county’s death total to 28. There were 806 cases in Cibola County as Monday, Nov. 9.

Fatal shooting update

LAGUNA, N.M. — A police chase that began on October 17 just west of Los Lunas, New Mexico turned fatal after ending near Laguna, NM. Valencia County Sheriff’s Deputies were pursuing a vehicle driven by Richard James Romero on State Road 6, just West of Los Lunas.
