There was one, then two, three and finally four. Pirate grapplers are sending off four to the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA) state wrestling tournament after earning their way last weekend at the Region 1 championships. GHS placed ninth out of 19 schools with 74 points.

The Pirates boys’ basketball team are on a 2game winning streak after defeating the Belen Eagles (8-14,1-4) by a score of 81-62 on February 2nd then defeating the Valencia Jaguars (11-12, 0-5) on their following game on February 9th by a score of 60-50.
