GRANTS, N.M. – Students came from Mesa View, Mt. Taylor, Milan, and Los Alamitos Middle School dressed up in their Halloween costume to compete in the Monster Mash Archery Bash Tournament held at Milan elementary school.

Pirates drop homecoming game, 44-0

Homecoming was not too homely for the hosting Grants Pirates, as they lost their 2022 homecoming game to the fifth ranked Taos Tigers who came in with a 5-1 record to the Port of the Pirates last Saturday.

The Grants High School Pirates came up a touchdown short this past weekend against the Kirtland Central Broncos (2-2) as the defense was able to hold the Broncos offense to 14 points, the lowest number of points the Pirates have held an opposing team this season.
