Dear editor, When you drive Sakelares Boulevard and get east of the Waste Management facility you come upon lots of plastic sheeting caught on the barbed wire on their east and north fences. It is so bad that some have gone across Sakelares and have become entwined in the fence across the street.

Twenty-two years ago, on September 11th, multiple commercial airplanes were hijacked by terrorists connected with the Al Qaeda. At 8:45 a.m. one of the jets crashed into the first of the twin towers, World Trade Center. Several floors were badly affected by the crash, burning near the 80th floor.

We live in a world full of misunderstandings, judgment, and disrespect. I could go on, but I’m sure you have seen or experienced this already. I’m always hearing people say how proud they are to be an American, but I don’t understand that myself.
