Focusing on the positive

Dear Editor; I always hate when I get a call from one of our departments asking “Have you seen the headlines in the local newspaper?”. Such was the case this past Wednesday when the headline reads Library and Vandalism.

New Mexico, land of the free?

Dear Editor; I’m really getting tired of the arrogant “elite” in government and the media restricting our freedom because we are “archaic” New Mexicans. For example, SB 10 Repeal abortion ban was hailed as decriminalizing abortion.

The new norm: ...I see the dawn!

It dawned on me that hopefully and possibly we will see the dawn of returning to a normal life as we had known before COVID-19. The rise in the number of new cases is slowing substantially and thank goodness the associated deaths have fallen.
