GRANTS, N.M. – The Grants Public Library continued its fall programming last week with another round of hands-on activities for local children and families.

Wildflower Circle met Oct. 7, where children made decorative stepping stones using colorful pieces set into concrete. The finished stones showed off a mix of designs and gave participants another chance to work with art and simple hands-on building.

The next day, Picasso Babies joined Tot and Me for a pumpkin-themed session. Families listened to Ten Little Pumpkins before children made their own pumpkin art using pipe cleaners, beads, googly eyes and other craft materials.

Library visitors also completed another community puzzle during the week, continuing a popular activity that has become part of the library’s regular fall routine.

The Grants Public Library continues to offer a mix of storytime, art, early-learning activities and community programs for families throughout the week.
