You are sure to see Christmas Cactus (Schlumbergera x buckleyi) on sale during the Holidays. While it is a beautiful plant to give or receive, it can offer years of beauty and flowers. They have been known to live for 50 years. Originating in the tropics of Brazil it is more orchid than cactus.

Just LOOK at that face!! There are soooo many puppers looking for a new home at the Grants Animal Shelter! Take one home, volunteer, drop off supplies, take them for walks. Adopt, do not shop! Seriously, $50 for a dog includes spay/neuter, microchip, and rabies shots.

500 lbs of Food Donated

The Grants Community Pantry was the beneficiary of a recent food drive held by the Knights of Columbus. Last week, Chris Madrid, a member of the Knights, dropped off approximately 500 lbs. of canned food at the Pantry.
