Body

GRANTS, N.M. – Continental Divide Electric Cooperative CEO/General Manager Manny Gonzales, right, meets with Grants Mayor Erik Garcia on Sept. 14 to discuss ways the cooperative and city can work together on issues affecting local residents and CDEC members. Gonzales, who began leading CDEC on Sept. 8, brings more than 30 years of electric utility leadership experience and has said member service and community relationships will be central to his work with the cooperative.

CDEC said the meeting is part of Gonzales’ effort to meet with local governments, organizations and members throughout the cooperative’s service area. The cooperative also provided Gonzales’ cell phone number, 505-876-7015, and encouraged members with questions, concerns or feedback to contact him directly.

The cooperative serves communities across five counties in west-central New Mexico, including all of Cibola County.
