Over three pounds of Fentanyl pills have been taken off the street by Cibola County Sheriff’s Deputies. Just one Fentanyl pill can have a lethal dose, according to the US Drug enforcement Administration. According to Cibola County Sheriff Tony Mace, the bust was made along Interstate 40 on March 22.

Sexual Abuse on Navajo Nation

NAVAJO NATION – Shiprock man Bryan Bull was sentenced to 14 years in a federal prison for the aggravated sexual abuse of a 14-year-old boy in Shiprock, New Mexico. The abuse took place on the Navajo Nation on June 3, 2019, according to the United States Department of Justice.

Crownpoint man Indicted

Diego Lopez, Reporter NAVAJO NATION, N.M. – Crownpoint man Wade Dixon has been indicted for sexual abuse of a minor on the Navajo Nation. Dixon was arraigned in a federal court for this sexual abuse charge on March 11.

Cibola County finances flourish

The Cibola County Board of Commissioners held a regular commission meeting on Thursday, March 24, at 5:00 p.m. All commissioners were present in the Cibola County Commission Chambers, and the agenda was approved as presented after the pledge of allegiance and a prayer.
