Marian Jordan age 94, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, in Bosque Farms, N.M. She was born on May 20, 1932, in Model, Colorado, to her parents Joe Del Cordova and Jennie Apodaca Cordova. At a young age, Marian learned to play the guitar and to worship her Lord and Savior.
Due to family obligations she needed to quit school at a young age, to stay home and help her mother with the younger children. Later in life, at age 62, she returned to complete her education. In 1956 Marian and her sisters moved to Grants, NM from Colorado and continued their ministry as the “Cordova Sisters Trio” as they were known in Colorado. Marian was a wonderful self-taught musician and songwriter. In 1957, she met and married Bob Holley. They had four children and built a loving home. Because Marian enjoyed cooking and baking so much she and Bob opened a family restaurant in the early 1970’s. In 1982 the couple parted ways and she remained unmarried until 2003, when she married Harry Jordan. She continued her music ministry alongside her new husband. After a lengthy illness, her husband passed away in 2019. She remained dedicated to the Lord and her family, where reading and studying the Bible were top priority throughout her life.
