Teofilo M.
Sanchez Teofilo M. Sanchez passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4th at the age of 93. He was born on March 30, 1933, in Clayton New Mexico to Teofilo Sanchez sr. and wife Josephine.
Teofilo will be remembered for his service to the United States Marine Corp. from 1950-1954.
Teofilo is survived by his wife Angelina Sanchez, son, Larry Sanchez and wife Edwina, daughter Janine Ortega and husband Alfonso, grandsons Michael Molina, Salvador Sanchez, Louie Rivera, granddaughters Vanessa Garcia, Evette Rivera. Two great grandsons, eight greatgranddaughters, three great-great grandsons, four greatgreat granddaughters.
Teofilo was preceded in death by his daughter Karen Rivera and husband Louie, grandsons Angelo Garza, Teofilo Austin and Willie Nunez, granddaughter Denetra Austin.
Services will be held at the Potter’s House at 342 First St., Grants, N.M on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
