Richard E. Roybal

Richard E. Roybal born May 11, 1965 to Susie Sandoval Quintana and Eloy Roybal passed away peacefully at home January 13, 2021 after a lengthy illness.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tommy Roybal.

He is survived by his partner of 27 years, Ken Kaplan, his sisters, Veronica Carreon, Diana Gonzales, Angela Roybal, Patsy Flores and brother Joey Roybal, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Rick was a radiant spirit and a friendly person with an incredible sense of humor.

Rick worked in the restaurant industry for 25 years in Grants, Albuquerque, and at Red Lobster, Applebee’s, Outback and Blue Corn in Santa Fe. For the past 11 years he has been the caretaker for the Tesuque Mesa Homeowners Association in Tesuque, New Mexico.

Rosary, mass, and interment was held on Monday, January 25 at St. Theresa of Avila in Grants.
