Viola Marie Rodriguez was born on June 28,1951, in Grants, New Mexico. She was 70 years old when she passed away on October 18, 2021, at Cibola General Hospital in Grants.
Her Rosary will take place at the San Rafael Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. and mass will follow at 10 a.m. on Friday October 29, 2021. The burial will follow at the San Rafael Cemetery.
Viola was full of life, and she touched everybody that she encountered everywhere. She was kind and helpful to her family and friends. She always made you laugh and smile when you were down and sad. She really enjoyed her 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Ronnie Rodriguez and wife Sandy, Jose Rodriguez III and recently deceased companion June Jaure, Josephine Montano and husband Michael Montano, Santiago Rodriguez Jr., Walter Rodriguez and fiancé Evet Molina.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Santiago E. Rodriguez; father: Alejandro Gurule; mother: Josephine Gurule; grandson: Jose (Joe) Rodriguez; and grandson: Ronnie Rodriguez Jr.
Pallbearers for the service will be Khalid Monawar, Ernesto Monawar, Santiago Monawar, Andrew Rodriguez, Gage Rodriguez and Christopher Rohan. Also Raven Jaure, Rene Jaure, Serenity Rohan and Ariellah Rodriguez.
Honorary pallbearers are Lena Rodriguez, Milo Rodriguez, Raelynn Jaure, Candace Baca, Myranda Rodriguez, Mia Key, Rudy Lopez and her 20 greatgrandchildren.
