Clarence Nelson “Pat” Patterson, husband, father, and grandfather recently passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years old.
During his life Clarence was a farmer, mechanic, rancher, hunter, and a US Air Force veteran during the Korean War. He will be remembered by family and friends in their own ways but though we did not always agree with his beliefs and ideas, no one who met him will ever forget him.
He died as he lived, on his own terms at home in the shadow of Mount Taylor, which was always his second love. His final wish was to be cremated and his ashes scattered in the mountain along with those of his wife Evelyn.
He was the father of five children: Ricky, Robyn, Randy, Melissa, and Laurie. He was also the grandfather of nine, and a great-grandfather to 17.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Shirley Patterson, by 14 months.
The family wishes to thank all the nurses and caregivers for all the thoughtful service and care provided during his final days.
