David passed away on November 7, 2021 at his home in Bluewater Village, NM, at the age of 63. He was born on August 5, 1958 in Holbrook, Arizona. On Friday November 12, 2021 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints meetinghouse, 29 Navarre Blvd. in Thoreau, NM. A viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Then at 11 a.m. a Funeral service will be conducted by First Counselor in the Bishopric, Billy Moore. Interment will follow at Pioneer Memorial Park in Bluewater, NM. Numerous area agencies will provide fire service honors.

He was a lifelong devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Helived a life of service to his family and friends, he loved being an EMT and Firefighter, where he served about 40 years all over New Mexico and Arizona. He was employed at Tri-State electric generating station for 16 years before retirement. His greatest joy was the time spent with his family especially his grandchildren, He was deeply loved and will be missed.

David is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years: Novella; seven children: Brett Hollar and his wife Christy of Portales, NM., Paul Hollar and his wife Kathy of Columbus, MT., Bart Hollar also from Columbus, MT., Twilena Skelton and her husband Tim of San Rafael, NM., Jimmy Crowther of Grants, NM., Wesley Crowther of Albuquerque, NM; along with 22 grandchildren, and 15 Great-Grandchildren. David also has one brother: Brett Crowther and his wife Amelia of Los Lunas, NM.; three sisters: Darla Udall and her husband Jeff, Tammy Castillo, and Becky Johnson and her husband Trevor all of Eager/Springerville AZ., along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

David was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Patricia Crowther; his daughter: Theresa Marie Crowther; and a brother: Robert Seth Crowther.

Casket bearers include Jeremy Hollar, Richard Jaramillo, Devon Wilson, Jimmy Crowther, Wesley Crowther, Bart Hollar, Brett Hollar and Aaron Clawson.

Honorary bearers include his son in law: Tim Skelton; and all of his remaining grandchildren;
