On Friday, March 26, Dustin “Dusty” Nichols passed away. Dusty was born on September 18, 1979 in Durango, Colorado. He grew up in the Grants/Milan area with his parents, Mark and Beverley Nichols. In 2005 Dusty married his wife, Sandra Nichols and they moved to Albuquerque New Mexico with their daughter Hope. Dusty worked many years with Lowes, eventually leaving to better opportunities. Dusty was an avid boatsman, hunter and Bronco Fan. Dusty was known for his generosity and kind spirit. He had a big heart, and he was onery by nature.

Dusty was preceded in death by his father, Mark and his brother, Joseph.

He is survived by his wife Sandy, his daughter Hope, his mother Beverley, as well as his siblings Michelle, April, Natalie and Fred. Dusty leaves behind many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and extended family members who he cared for deeply. The world lost man who had many titles to many people, but most of all he was a friend to all who met him.
