Dustin Lee Jaramillo passed away on July 13, 2022 in Grants, New Mexico. He was 29 years of age. He was born on June 22, 1993 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He attended Grants High School, graduating in 2011. He went on to attend Fort Lewis College in Durango Colorado, an experience Dustin treasured. Mr. Dustin was currently a teacher at Mt. Taylor Elementary, where he cherished all of his students. He enjoyed hanging out with all of his friends and his dog, Bentley. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan. Dustin will always be remembered for his gigantic smile and those big strong hugs. He was deeply loved and will forever be missed.

Dustin is survived by his parents: Robert and Jessica Jaramillo. Two sisters; Savannah Jaramillo and Alexis Jaramillo. His grandparents: Beni and Frieda Castillo, Serafin Jaramillo, and Augustine “Tino” Garcia. Dustin had numerous uncles and aunts, they include; Augustine Molina along with his partner Angel Salas, Bianca and Tony Martinez, Sammy and Louella Jaramillo, Gary and Gale Jaramillo, Jody and Ray Mirabal, Bertha and Bill Dean, Maria Jaramillo, Troy and Brenda Jaramillo, Michael and Shirley Marez, Jackie and Debbie Jaramillo, Joe and Phyllis Salazar. He had numerous cousins and many friends that survive him.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother; Elvira Jaramillo. His "Big Grandma" Louisa Molina Gurule, and an uncle; Tommy Jaramillo.

On Wednesday July 20, 2022 at The Way, The Truth & The Life Ministries, 700 Sakalares Blvd in Grants, NM a viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, then at 11:00 AM, Pastor Danny Almanza will deliver a message of hope and faith. Interment will follow at Grants Memorial Park.

Pallbearers include; Jesse Molina, Ricardo Soto, Troy “TJ” Jaramillo, Brian Contreras, Augustine Molina, and Cesar Diaz.

Honorary Pallbearers include; Isaiah Torrez, Khari Pichardo, Lucas Rychener, Draiden Martinez, Julian Chacon, Adrian Chacon, Elliot Martinez, and all of his students.
