Henry was born in Grants, New Mexico on December 16, 1979, and passed away on August 30, 2021. The services for Henry A Mondragon Jr will be on September 8, 2021 at St. Teresa Avila Catholic Church in Grants. Viewing will take place at 9:30 a, the Rosary at 10 am, and Mass at 10:30 am. The interment will begin 11 am at Grants Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at the VFW Post 3221 in Grants.
Henry was a person who loved and cared for everyone who came into his life. Henry’s biggest accomplishment in life was the birth of his daughter, Shania Mondragon. Henry’s passion in life was the mountains, he called it “God’s Country” and if you knew him, you know that he enjoyed hunting big game, shed hunting, and fishing, anything to do with being in the mountains. Henry’s other love in life was his love of sports which included his Raiders and Lakers.
He is survived by his parents: Anthony Brito and Linda Mondragon Brito; daughter: Shania Mondragon; his sister: Jessica Mathews (Lance Mathews); his brother: Joshua Mondragon; his grandmother: Tomacita Brito; his half-sister: Audrie Anton (John Anton); step-sister: Bobbie Jo Romero (Kenny Romero); step-sister: Jenna Brito (Craig Garcia); many aunts and uncles and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is proceeded in death by his father: Henry Mondragon Sr; grandparents: Henry and Martha Murrietta; his aunt: Brenda Murrietta; grandfather: Luciano Brito; and grandmother: Clorinda Esquibel.
Pallbearers: Lance Mathews, KyJuan McKinney, Alana McKinney, Kyrin Romero, Moises Martinez Sr, and Marvin Mathews.
