Leticia Viviana Fonseca

Leticia Viviana Fonseca went to be with Jesus on June 1, 2021. She lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her son Lazaro. She was born in Grants, New Mexico, on April 17, 1981.

Tisha filled her home with messages of love and faith in her artwork, on her front door, and with her growing collection of heartshaped rocks she found everywhere she went. She saw the best in everyone and helped those in need by offering a place to stay, a ride, food, and money. She recognized that it’s not how people use our charity, it’s that we offer charity, that we act in love, and that we see people as God sees us.

Leticia is survived by her son Lazaro Valencia; parents Jess and Vivian Fonseca; siblings Laurie Fonseca (TJ York), Vanessa Fonseca-Chávez (Raul Chávez), Felicia Fonseca (Sky Yazzie), and Jess Fonseca (Carissa Franco Fonseca); nephews Kendyl Dolk, Isaiah Lister and Jesiah Fonseca, and niece Isabella Fonseca. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lazaro and Gertrudes Ponce, Vivian Cruz, and Jess and Joyce Fonseca.

Visitation will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 14 at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel in Albuquerque, followed by a rosary.

Mass will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 15 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Albuquerque, followed by a gathering of family and friends.
