Prescilla married her husband, Onie, on August 13, 1960, and they recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. They had their first son, Stephen Duane, on April 3, 1961. Fifteen years later, they had their second son Michael James, on December 29, 1975. On August 17, 1998 she was blessed with the birth of her granddaughter, Brianna.

Prescilla and Onie resided in Albuquerque, N.M., in 1970; Colorado Springs, Colorado, from 1971 to 2004; and returned home to Grants in 2004.

During her time in Colorado Springs, she was introduced to the Lord by a dear friend. She accepted the Lord as her savior on March 12, 1982. She was baptized in believer's baptism ceremony at Circle Drive Baptist Church. She not only loved to learn about Him throughout her life continuously; she also spread and taught his word to others. On this foundation of faith, Prescilla built her life's framework, guided by the Holy Spirit's blueprint. Over the years, she was active with bible studies and Sunday School.

There were two main things that Prescilla was known for. First, she was always in prayer. She prayed as she breathed. Her heart was always in the attitude of prayer. Second, her kind-hearted soul, who loved everyone without judgment. She was welcoming and always ready to help others at any time. She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her infectious smile, and her kindness.

Prescilla always enjoyed cooking, putting a puzzle together and playing games on her Tablet with friends and loved ones. In her earlier days, she was creative and enjoyed crafts that included crocheting, sewing, and knitting.
