Ronald Gene Taylor left this life for a better one on December 9, 2021. There will be no services at this time, but a celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2022.

Ronald and his twin brother Donald were born in Grants, New Mexico, on July 13, 1960. He was raised in San Rafael and lived there at the time of his passing. After graduating from Grants High School in 1978 he served two tours in the Marines. Ron was a commander of a VFW Post in Texas.

He was an awesome carpenter and an avid fisherman. Ronald loved racing stock cars with his dad, brother and nephews at the Uranium Capitol Speedway. At the age of 55, Ron received a Bachelor’s Degree in Welding from New Mexico State University. His family and friends were his utmost joy in life.

Ron was preceded in death by his father: Darrell Dean Taylor; his mother: Shirley Lee Taylor; and his twin brother: Donald Dean Taylor Sr.

He is survived by five siblings: Dennis Taylor and Rebecca, Lincoln, NE; Deborah Scott, Norton, KS; Linda Clark and Roger, Seattle, WA; Serina Lake, Goodland, KS; and Robert Taylor, Belgrade, MT.

He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews.
