Rufina Ulibarri

Rosary and Funeral Mass for Rufina Ulibarri 91 of Grants, New Mexico were held on October 30, 2020 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial followed at the Grants Memorial Park.

Rufinia was born on October 7, 1929 in Van Houten, N.M. and she passed away on October 27, 2020 in Grants, N.M.

She is survived by her sons: Filimon Ulibarri, Jr, and wife Penny of Grants, N.M., David Ulibarri and wife Dolores of Tijeras, N.M., Robert Michael Ulibarri and wife Elaine of Grants, N.M.; daughters: Margie Grine, Gloria Jaramillo and husband Leeroy, Pamela Ulibarri all of Grants, N.M.; brothers: Trinnie Garcia of San Jose, N.M. and Daniel Garcia of El Pueblo, N.M.; sisters: Beatrice Moya of Denver, Colorado, Rosabel Gallegos of Villanueva, N.M., Delfina Gallegos of El Prado, N.M., Priscilla Mathis and Dalia Maestas both of Las Vegas, N.M.; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Filimon Ulibarri, Sr.; parents: Daniel Garcia and Julianita “Rivera” Garcia; son-in-law: Gary Grine; brothers: Daniel Garcia and Arthur Garcia; sisters: Elsie Sena and Sinforosa Vigil.

Pallbearers were Troy Ulibarri, Isaac Jaramillo, Aaron Ulibarri, Dwain Grine, Mike Moraga, James Maddox.

Compassion Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
