Walter McBride, Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle rode into the sunset on the 9th day of February 2021 at his home in Grants, New Mexico with his wife Gina by his side.

Walter was born October 4, 1937 in Grants, New Mexico where he lived many years. Walter was a General Contractor. His passion was Professional Bull Riding and Bareback Riding. He loved the rodeo scene. He was the owner/operator of Walter McBride Construction. Later he moved to Gallup, New Mexico to work where he met his best friend and the love of his life,

Gina and Walter worked throughout his life in many states. Walter was known for his great work in new construction and historical restorations. In 2005 Walter and Gina moved back to Grants, New Mexico where he continued working as a General Contractor.

Walter was a devout Catholic, hard worker and devoted to his family. He was kind, funny, generous, no one was a stranger, just a friend he hadn't spoken to yet. His family will always remember all the precious time and memories they made with him. He will be truly missed by the many lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gina, Daughter Kay McBride-Barron, Grandsons Pablo Smith and Adrian Barron, Sister Rose Marie Chavez (Joe) and sister Josephine Graves and Donna, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Perfilia and Eulalio McBride, Grandparents Elvirita and Jose Sanchez. Sister, Juanita Gray and Grandson Albert Barnett.

A mass in honor of Walter will be celebrated at a later date.
