Gene Russell Aragon passed away peacefully at his home on November 29 at the age of 72 surrounded by family. He fought a heroic battle with cancer and faced his illness like all other challenges in his life: Head-on, with his chin up and a joke on cue.

Our mother, Joan Arlene Schanzenbach Parks, passed away on November 10th, 2022, age 88, after a long battle with cancer. Joan was born November 20, 1933, in Midland, South Dakota, and grew up on the family farm 25 miles north of Midland.

Kathy passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2022, aged 95. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. She worked in the retail business for many years: The Starlite Cafeteria, Frontier Inn, Econo Lodge, Holiday Inn, and Golden Horseshoe.

Dora C. Marez, 89 years of age, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2022. Dora was born on June 7, 1933 in Cebolla Springs, New Mexico to the late Isidro and Isabel Chavez. Dora was the youngest of eight children. Dora was married to Frank G. Marez Jr. for 47 years.
