It marks the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new journey, and it holds even more significance in a rural community, like Cibola. Whether a graduate of Laguna-Acoma High, Grants High, or Early College High, education is not only essential for personal growth but also for the growth and development of the community as a whole. One of the most significant benefits of graduating high school is the increased likelihood of finding a stable job with a livable wage. Rural communities often struggle with unemployment and poverty, and a high school diploma can be the key to breaking the cycle. Graduates have access to a wider range of job opportunities and are more likely to earn a higher salary than those without a diploma.

Good News Dear editor, I have always enjoyed good news! In the midst of everyday tragedy, sorrow and sadness, it gives my heart hope to see so many positive things happening in our community! In April, the City of Grants had a Spring cleanup. At that time I reported about the many leaders and individuals that came out to show their pride in the City of Grants.
