COVID-19 claimed the lives of two Cibola County residents in December. The virus remains deadly, masks and social distancing remaining the most effective tools to prevent virus spread according to the US Centers for Disease Control.

The municipal golf course sits on 240 acres of stunning scenery. Although winter has slowed play time due to colder weather and loss of daylight, there are still enthusiasts willing to come out and enjoy a round of golf. A diverse range of people come to play at Coyote Del Malpais.
