MILAN, N.M. -Village of Milan trustees voted unanimously to offer Carl Ustupski the position of police chief. Mayor pro tem Vivian Brumbelow, trustees Roseanne Lopez and Ellen Baca supported Mayor Felix Gonzales recommendation to offer Ustupski the position.

This past Thursday, February 4 a minor mishap took place on the railroad tracks in Grants by the AutoZone store. According to the Cibola County Sheriff, a mechanical malfunction in the area were two cars are connected together caused the derailment.
